As we head into the last 2 weeks of December, it marks the end of another year, but added to that it the end of another decade! Eek!
But in the busy-ness of regular life, mom-life and entrepreneur-life, I just wanted to take the time to reflect back on another amazing year. There are always pockets of ups and downs, but I do always look for the positives in the challenges, and the learning opportunities we have from each moment, and each experience as it happens. Here are the highlights of my year!
A book nerd’s dream come true
I published my first book! “I’ll Never Grow Up! The Bare Necessities of Planning Your Disneyland Vacation” was published in September this year and I am so excited to share everything I know and love about Disneyland with readers and guests. My hope is that the book inspires you to visit and to help you maximize your time there. I share the inspiration behind Disneyland, with some tips and tricks about planning and booking your vacation and the joy of how the magic of Disney is an experience worth sharing for unforgettable memories. Memories that are embedded in our childhood and parenthood.
If you purchased a copy, I would love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave me a review on Amazon (it helps my book get noticed!) or send me a message to just let me know! All feedback is welcome and appreciated always.
In the Know
What a great year for women entrepreneurs in Calgary! The Know Tribe is a community of women entrepreneurs and I am honoured to be among those featured in the Know Calgary Book as one of the 100 Women you must KNOW and do business with! Connecting and collaborating with so many like-minded women has been an amazing experience and I cannot wait for all the wonderful opportunities ahead!
Business is good
I am thankful for the steady growth of new clients and the continued support of existing travel clients. As a small business owner of a home-based travel agency, I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude enough for support in choosing me to help you plan and book your trips, and the word of mouth referrals to bring awareness to my available services. Without that support, no one would know about me! So thank you for booking your trips with me, for your trust in my services and sharing what I can offer with your trusted family and friends.
After a busy and productive year, what I am looking forward to the most:
Downtime during the holidays. As a busy mom of two tweens/teens, and self-employed entrepreneur, I am looking forward to days where we can sleep in, wake up at whatever time want, stay in our pajamas all day and eat popcorn for supper as we binge on movies for a couple of weeks!
New opportunities in the new year. Lots of fun things happening behind the scenes and I am ready for the next stage in my entrepreneur life, and for all the exciting trips that I’ve been working on with clients travelling in 2020!
It’s been a great 2019 and cheers to 2020!
